Not coming in the Top 4 - it's ok!!

We are definitely in Europe next year after winning the cup. I don't care which competition we end up in, just want a couple of away days in a great drinking City!

It makes no odds if it offsets it, it still makes it more difficult to sign players without CL.

For example, target X we have Guardiola and CL football what say you?

or

i meant Pep factor for attracting players, if we were to miss out.

i agree that no CL would probably not be great for transfers but i think a lot of players recognise one season away from it is not a massive thing.

at the end of the day, i'm just concerned for the growing severity of heart conditions amongst our fans :)
 
Missing the top 4 would be a huge drawback in our progression.
Not only will it prevent us from signing high profile players.
But the timing would be critical, in the same time, the likes of Pogba/Neymar & co would end-up at Real/Barca/PSG etc.. while we sign second string players .
Pep would have to compose a team without any key signing for the next season.

Suppose we didn't finish in the top 4? Pep would inherit the same squad regardless of the league finish and would still be expected to either win the league next season or come very close, otherwise he would be judged as having a mare. So, at worst, we are out of the CL for one season.

Surely we can cope with this?

Also, if Pep has a clause that means he doesn't come, then he's a total whopper but I just don't think that will happen.

Of course it's not fucking ok!

If we finish outside the top 4 it will mitigate to a great degree "the Pep factor", plus it will hammer us financially (don't go thinking FFP is an irrelevance, especially if we miss out on £40m/£50m in Champion's League revenue). It will be a fuck up of monumental proportions given the quality and depth of our squad.
 
No, if we miss out on top 4 it would be shit, totally unacceptable with the squad we have and would be a significant blow to the club in the short term both financially and in terms of status. The management and players need to get a fucking grip and start performing in the league like they have done in the cups. I can totally accept that we won't win the league but there are no excuses for this group of players finishing out of the top 4.

In a nutshell.Not competing in the Champs league would be a huge step backwards in terms of our finances and our standing /reputation.Nothing can gloss over that.
 
It's a must we finish in the top 4 an absolute must, Pep or no Pep you can forget about playing fantasy football on here if it doesn't happen,we are at the top table now and have to stay on it
