Not Keen on Mancini

Had a sleep on it before jumping on here!

15 managers in 20 years and just as we are making progress CITY do it again! - Hughes was a transition manager - 'evolution not revolution' is what Owners said.

I predict we will now finish mid table, no CC final and a new manager will be brought in next summer when Mancini has finished counting his money...He was a great player but better than Hughes as Manager?

1. Mancini does not even speak english - if so good why no work for 12 months?
2. Players will be spit, Bellers, RSC and others will want away - dressing room will. be fun!
3. Mancini won fuck all outside Italy (corrupt weak league anyway so means nothing)
4. He knows fuck all about football in prem league and english footy.
5. All the backroom and suport staff changes, no stability.

I am not a Hughes fan and said he had a full season with his players, 2 defeats, 1 point off top 6 with game in hand, semi final I was happy as could see progress on last year - Total Fucking Madness and other supporters taking piss big time and who can blame them....

If we lose next 3 games will we change manager again?

To be honest I think the club and team is being run by Cook and others - does not really matter who is manager now as they have no real power over things....

STOKE - WOLVES - BLACKBURN - EVERTON - If we are not in top 4-6 after these games will Man

EDIT : Changed attention whore title
i take it you are a hughes inner, well answer me this you want a manager who has had 250,000,000 to spend on players and 18 months to build a team and won two games in 11 , but your already writing off a manager with a better track record than hughes will ever have.

One thing Mancini has that Hughes does not have as a manager...................Trophies.

You dont win 3 league titles on the bounce if you are a crap manager.
Some blues need to learn about football.

Mancini inherited a top 2 team and won the first league by default when juve were striped of the title and relegated in the match fixing scandle. the next two season were made a little easier with out juve. (as someone wrote, imagine chelsea's struggle if the rags got relegated)

before then he won the cup with Forentina, who were also one of the most corrupt teams/owners, reported to be involved in match fixing (allegedly)....and he won the cup with them....

hes won trophies, but it looks better on paper than it actually is.

shakes his head in disgust..... what a SH!TE post..... are you even a city fan?

I'll go with this, ffs do one.

Hughes I always had a certain doubt about (ex:rag ofc!) but I welcomed him into the club and wanted him to succeed, sadly in his 18 month tenure and the money invested I really don't think he did enough.

Mancini although not first choice had a good record in Italy and was a fantastic player who I used to watch quite alot and will be given the same amount of time as Hughes if not more to show us what he can do and if we have made progress in that time he would be deemed a success.

Slatting him before he's even stepped a foot in the door really is taking the piss.

But you were quite happy to have doubts about Hughes when he was appointed so why shouldnt many of us have doubts about a new manager who is unproven in the Premiership

Yes, clearly. By miles.
He actually won trophies so obviously better.

You are comparing apples and pears he has won titles in the Italian league and not the premiership he has won nothing in the premiership

Bloody hell, give him a chance.
1) Yes he does speak English. No work because he's had a contract dispute with Inter re compensation.
2) They're professionals. They'll stay, and everything will be fine. If there's one thing Hughes did it's build a good squad.
3) That's because this is his first job outside Italy. Christ, give him a break.
4) He's got Brian Kidd alongside him, someone who does know about it. However, that aside, he did play for Leicester for a few years so he's not got absolute zero.
5) Well yes, that much is obvious. Which is why we should give Mancini time.

Messi has never won the Premiership either. Shit, he is.

I had my doubts but I didn't list his faults point by point in a public forum and pretty much kept them to myself and funnily enough was quite excited at the Hughes appointment and although not my first choice I'm again quite happy and excited to see what Mancini can do.

Oh and Ancelotti, Mourhino, Wenger etc etc they all seemed to do well in this league without any experience because you know what? he means jack shit.
