Not Keen on Mancini

Lets see if he can get our defence to, well defend.
Lets see if he can get the best out of Robby and Ade.

If the above two are yes, he can then watch us go.

I liked Hughes, but the above 2 were No unfortunatly and we seemed to get worse not better by the week.

I don't think Hughes should shoulder the blame completely for Robinho and Ade, don't forget that other clubs have had problems with those two.

Like most fans I supported Hughes and I will support Mancini. All this spewing bollocks on a forum is just that bollocks. Ever heard of keeping your thoughts to yourself. Quit whining like spoilt kids.

Get behind the team and the manager. It's what supporters do !

You never know it might just make the difference

What I am suggesting is that all those who claim to see our new manager as the new messiah need to have a reality check. This appointment is a gamble as is the appointment of any new manager or player. It may work or it may not there are no guarantees. What I resent is being told that I need to support the manager by the same people who never wanted Hughes as the manager and were not prepared to give him any chance.

I support Man City but I will wait to see what happens on the pitch before hailing this appointment. Obviously if we win I will be delighted but take Spurs sacking Jol and then appointing Ramos what a success that turned out to be I hope we dont come to regret this decision

This appointment is bollocks...

I'm struggling to understand how a lot of people are excited by this.

I was a Hughes inner, and im gutted that he has gone. The thing is, is that Mancini now needs 4 to 5 years to get this right... Can you see a theme developing here??

I certainly won't be jumping on the bandwagon if we don't finish in the top 4 this season. These things take time. Look at Villa and Spurs... settled squads where the majority of the players have been together for 2 to 3 years, and look where they are...

What we have done basically, is give the players the power (If you don't like the manager, or if things aren't going well, don't worry Robinho or Adebayor, it won't be you who we get rid of, it will be the manager). I was delighted yesterday that Hughes signed off by dropping Adebayor and Robinho after the shite that they served up on Wednesday, not a fucking ounce of effort...

Sometimes Managers make mistakes. They get things wrong. Then there is a process of learning and getting it right. We have just been put back to square one, yet again.

Mark Hughes is a good manager and Roberto Mancini looks like he is better than Hughes given his record. But his record and past success will mean absolutely fuck all if he doesn't get more than 4 years...

This biggest thing for me is my connection with the club is fast disintegrating... There is a minority of people at the club who have been there for more than 18 months (the academy players)... There's no one at City that I can relate to anymore or say, yeah he's City through and through blah, blah... Probably Nedum Onuoha is the closet we get to that...

You've watched Sunday Supplement and taken their bullshit opinions as your own.

The whole point is that we wanted a manager who didn't need 4-5 years to get it right.

Also, I'm excited about it, because I back the club, no matter what. I was a Hughes Inner, and now I'm a Mancini Inner. I'm also a Cook Inner, Mubarak Inner, Marwood Inner and Sheik Inner. I support my club, and those who work at it.

I did watch sunday supplement and it just so happens that i share the same opinion as one of the panel... You bell bag...

Mancini is not the answer. I feel a royal balls-up on its way. Give it 6 months and we will be re-appointing.

Is that the same disastrous Ramos who, in his first 12 months in the job, won the Carling Cup?

We would eat our own faces for success like that!

Fuck, we're all going mad on here 'cos we've reached the fucking semi-finals!

Stevie Ireland? Shaun Wright Phillips? Jim Cassell? Micah Richards? Martin Petrov?

In fact the reason most of the people at City haven't been there longer than 18 months is because the previous manager cleared them all out!
