All season I have been thinking we are in with a good shout at the title. Yes it will be tight etc etc etc. Any one of 3 teams could win it etc etc etc. Rags will be there or thereabouts at the end etc etc.

But since Sunday, and considering we have taken 25 points from 27 (and really it should have been 27 from 27 had we not tooled it in at Fulham), the possibility is dawning on me that we might actually walk it this season. I don't mean scrape home by a point or 2, but maybe romp home with a 15 point lead.

Yes, I know, I am getting ahead of myself, and there's lots to do and and a long way to go.

But it is possible isn't it. Carry on as we are and we would end up on 105 points! I am not expecting that but even if we got near it it would be just unreal. No-one would get close to us. If we dropped 10 more points than our current run-rate would imply, we would still equal Chelsea's record of 95 points and we'd probably win by 10 clear.

What a ridiculous prospect?!?! Or not?

titles are won or lost by winter injuries.

who will have less injuries will win.

we are still short in the midfield plus in january yaya will be at the ACON.

i really hope the luck will help us but i think we will sign a couple of midfielders in january.

Were a 1/4 of the way through the season. Early days for sure, BUT it's ours to lose i reckon. We are a team now, playing some totally world class football, scoring for fun and thats all that matters.
Can we win it ? Of course we can, we just have to believe in our heads and build on the fantastic start weve had. Eleven goals against Spuds and the rags away is title winning form.
We have a great chance to stretch out the points gap even further before Christmas.

It's well within our grasp to win it, and win it in style.
I want the rag's at City three the games from the end to visit the home of the 2011/12 CHAMPIONS!..

We need to show some balls and believe were gonna win the league............after all the players are!!

Next six league games are

Wolves H
QPR A
Newcastle H
Liverpool A
Norwich H
Chelsea A

We will have a better idea after those 2 away games against Chelsea and Liverpool as to how far we have come.

United have

Everton A
Sunderland H
Swansea A
Newcastle H
Villa A
Wolves H

Chelsea have

Arsenal H
Blackburn A
Liverpool H
Wolves H
Newcastle A
MCFC H

Arguably Chelsea have the hardest out of us and the 6-1 donkeys.Us beating liverpool away is a big big game for me.

Played 9 - 29 to play
The EPL is never won on form to this point in the season. Fantastic start but that is all it is at the moment. Some huge games to come with Chelsea, Liverpool Arsenal and surprisingly Newcastle home and away and United at our place towards the end (they'll be smarting after Sunday and want revenge, writing them off based on that result will be folly and it may be an absolute key result so near to the end of the season)

I will be more confident if we get to half way in the season having played everyone at least once and are still in a great position. Remember Newcastle being 12 points in front and getting overhauled?

Mancini doing a great job at the moment lets get through the shit weather and injury and suspension worries that the new year tends to bring. The value of a class big squad should enable us to get through with less problems than a lot of others but we'll see.

Im optimistic we can do it - not confident!

Ours is the hardest out of that. If we win 4 and draw 2 we'll be well on our way. I just hope people don't expect us to turn up at Anfield and Stamford Bridge and destroy very good teams.

I'd agree with this. We should definately sign a central midfielder in January. Even if it's just a short-term loan deal.
