nothing to moan about

It's a great feeling when the team stride out away from home determined to win the game , and that's exactly what we intended to do , if only on the breakaway !

Good players give you the confidence to go to awkward places like Blackburn and come up trumps , because many sides won't even survive there this season ...... it'll all go pear shaped of course if Wolves win at Coms next weekend , but the confidence here is such now that you can just feel that that's not gonna happen!

Maybe in the next few seasons we'll see that the moaning is there simply because there has been a lot to moan about.

Get some good results, and decent performances and people will tend to be pretty happy with the way things are going.

It's fucking great. No doubt the usual suspects who haven't been posting lately will rear their ugly heads at the first sign of trouble, but I'm enjoying basking in glory. Yesterday was a MASSIVE relief

Yeah we played a poor side without being outstandings and got a result. There's long long way to go yet

Can't quite work out whether that's tongue-in-cheek , but i'm not too sure that Blackburn are that poor 'Mike' .... they'd have scored against other sides yesterday without a doubt , generally had us under pressure for decent spells in the game , and worked Shay Givens on a few occasions ...... i'm willing to bet that they'll win a large percentage of their home games , they have players to come back from injury yet too ....... it's a difficult place to gain any type of result , and it's a great three points for us , because there's no way that Blackburn were gonna make it easy for us in the opening game of the season on their own patch.

One would think there is nothing to moan about, but this is BM:

Just as a reminder we won our first away game last season, kept a clean sheet, and scored one more goal in the process. It was 8 months before we won away again !

Lets not go getting too giddy just yet, its a good result at somewhere we rarely win.

I argree,as the sunday times reporter put it,playing blackburn away first game of the season is like being paired with the school bully on your first day back, and city passed the exam with flying colours.

I'm gonna moan that we're not actually playing Everton on Wednesday, after yesterday and what's going on it would have been an easy 3 points! Stupid Europa League!
