Nottingham Forest (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Some of our players are clearly clearly fragged, but the team dug in and pulled themselves out of the shit.

Forest were clearly up for this one, and it showed. Had they been better at finishing it might have been a different result. Still think we had another gear if we needed it.

I just spotted she has 3 shiny buttons on her dress.
For the first 5 minutes viewing,I only noticed the two.

Update ; Now spotted that she has fingers too.
Erm, aren't you forgetting the diamond earrings?

3 points on a difficult day. Gave up some big chances (3 to Wood and twice when Ederson dropped the ball from corners). Won't get away with that again. Players way off normal levels - exhaustion. Kovacic and Erling looked sharp and need to start and get Phil and Dias back in for the run in. Walker out and Akanji to RB. Grealish, Doku and Bernardo to rotate in. Ake and Gvardiol are fixtures.

rode our luck but class tells.

Not our best by a long shot but we did enough and thankfully Chris Wood is shit!

Great to see Haaland back - he looked lively and alert which he wasnt before he had the last few weeks out. I do wonder if he has been carrying an injury for large parts of the season as he hasnt been moving right but he seemed more like his old self today.

thougth we gave a lot of silly balls away - probably as Pep said last time we played like that - due to tiredness.

Gvardiol was very good again today and what a header that was! Ake was also very good as well and Akanji was decent

Bernardo worked his socks off as per usual.

Doku rightfully taken off at half time - he will learn to not give the ball away and for his first season under Pep I think he has done very well - we have seen other more established players struggle (Grealish and Mahrez for instance)

Walker in the first half was awful - yes partly on Doku but also he was careless and didnt look at it..second half much better.

KDB had an off game yet gets two assists. He didnt look happy about something and even at the final whistle didnt appear too happy.

We definitely missed Foden's spark but hopefully he will be back for next game.

all that matters is the 3 pts in the end but we have to play better than that.
