Nottingham Forest (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

For someone who's apparently the most exciting and unpredictable winger we've got, Doku isn't half boring and predictable.

Fair play to Forest. They had a game plan and it worked.

No point in being frustrated or disappointed anymore. We get turned over whenever we play any half decent side.

Utter dogshit, and that was just Forest! How the fuck do we concede so many soft goals against teams who create so few chances?

Having said that, wasting all that possession in the final third because nobody can play a decent final ball is soul destroying, especially when we've got the best goalscorer in the world up front.

To add insult to injury, the commentary and refereeing was disgustingly biased towards Forest.
I had it on mute most of the time.

huge win for Forest sadly. this can help to give them momentum go get one of the CL places. our chances to cstch Arsenal is gone now imo.
even if we 10 out of last 10 (LOL) we get to 77p only but we will be closer to 70 than 80 for sure.
I would sign 70 points right now if offered likely we wont reach 70 points. that gets us 4th or 5th surely.

Pep and his tactics are kept being found out without magical performance from opponents. we had all week to prepare for this Forest game and we didnt lay a hand o them.
some players were off on some short holiday during the week? good for them.

didnt like what Pep said in the presser if we dont make CL places its not end of the world and it would mean others deserve it more.
quite the fucking motivation for the squad...

I do wonder if he indeed has the hunger to reset the side and rebuild to its previous heights. one thing is sure his tactics need a huge change. lot of players look burnt out and Pep as well sadly.

his subs were awful, we lost the little control we had and nothing was added attacking wise.

dont have any high hopes for the FA cup match vs Bournemouth away. they are way too intense for us. until we had lower league opponents in a row we were lucky with the draw, that runs out now.

We just pass sideways and backwards , have loads of possession with no reward. Reminds me of Arsenal under Wenger in the later years.

Just not surprised, barely threatened their goal.

The technical quality of our team has fell off so much this year. Don't even get me started on the work rate.
I don’t think half of them are playing for Pep and let’s have it right his refusal to make a change to our approach or inability to find a new way to get more out of the players is an issue. We’ve spent near £200 again and haven’t improved significantly either. Taking Gonzalez off was stupid. Khusanov outstanding. Why no Oreilly again? Foden needs dropping. We starve Haaland who is effectively a passenger and then Emerson makes a gaff to eclipse a great save. Just not good enough anywhere. No aspect of our play is good enough. Pep has to find something new

What load of shit.
Fucking sick of the same passive shit each week.
Sick of opponents having acres of space on our left.
Sick of players who can’t play a more than hour.
Sick of crucial errors
Sick of corners and free kicks never producing anything
Sick of shit average signings (looks like we are still making them)
Sick of 75% of the team not finishing the game where they started
Sick of slow play
Sick of the unwillingness to put an early cross in
Fucking Sick
They kiss top 5 on the arse

Anybody thinking that side out there can challenge for the title next season needs to reassess things. Players we have brought in, aside from Khusa, look decidedly average. One good performance then 4 weeks of mediocrity....Savinho Doku Marmoush....FFS City, get some proven world class players in.
The subs today made things worse, Kova was pish...his stupid 1st time pass when we were breaking cost us that goal and of course, Ederson has to make another whopping great fuck up.
Very disappointing 2nd half that from us, hardly any intent upfront

So stupid. Needless defeat. You cannot be conceding goals like that. No pressure on Gibbs-White and then Eddie has to be positioned better and stopping that near post shot.

Forest defend well but final ball again just not good enough from City.

We chased the win when we should have been more cautious in the final 10 minutes and just taken the draw but we fell into the trap which was there in plain sight.
