That's my point. Some will tell you this season is an absolute catastrophe, and at the end of it, we're still in contention for the UCL spots.

I remember a story breaking in the winter that the club thought the big rebuild could wait until next season and that this seasons results had caught them by surprise.

So I'm not overly concerned especially with the injuries like you said. It's just that they really need to re-evaluate the style of football after this year, because they look anaemic at times.

Agreed; dips aside, a lot of the sides (certainly the "big" ones) have been underwhelming. I suppose it makes the scrap for CL places more interesting, seeing the likes of Forest, Bournemouth, Brighton and Fulham in the upper reaches of the table. And even the dips haven't been outstanding; they've been way more consistent than anyone else. They certainly haven't morphed into the Barca 2011 team.

It was no coincidence that the commentators said the game is opening up as soon as we took Nico off.
Rico and Kova's first involvement was to get in a mix up loosing the ball allowing a quick break away. The substitutions alone gave Forst impetus. From a position of control, chaos ensued and we returned to what we've seen for the last 4 months.

In fairness, if they hadn't of picked up stupid yellow cards, they could have stayed on.
