The game had 0-0 written all over it, but one long pass seemed to catch us off guard.

What concerned me more was our total lack of energy despite most of the players having a break last weekend

It’s time we addressed this full back issue properly. We need a right back and a left back.

Not for the first time in the second half of games this season.

When we win the ball in midfield our first thought is to recycle it backwards and sideways. I’m not talking specifically about today but we never seem to look up and ball a risky ball forward in case we lose it. We don’t have that - if you can’t win a game don’t lose it attitude - because Pep has rarely managed a team who need to do that. Forest’s goal should never have been scored and I’m not talking about Eddies atrocious goalkeeping. Fantastic pass by Gibbs-White but why was Hudson-Odoi all on his own in a wide position, 8 minutes from the end of the game before he cut in and scored? So the weakness is Gvardiol which he has demonstrated all season we solved the right side we need a Khushnov for the left
Don’t agree about the atrocious goal keeping he was coving two options had every right to think the defender blocks the shot

Top one is pretty bad but I do want to defend Silva on the 2nd image, as this has been used to hammer him a bit, but he has just wriggled free of 3 Arsenal players brilliantly and doesn't have control of the ball in that image (the video shows it much better), and when he catches the ball up one or two paces later, Marmoush is offside.

I'm just staggered by the drop off in performance levels from virtually every player in this squad. We're not even creating many chances in games now when we were doing it for fun in seasons gone by. Barely tested the Forest keeper today after having a week to prepare, simply not good enough, and only Khusanov looks like he gives a fuck at present. Another game that the performance leaves you deflated, been far too many of those this season
 
The old guard mentality in this squad is that they have learned to accept defeat where as before they found a way to win they have been unbelievable but need a total reset in the summer

Gvardiol has had ONE booking this season. He’s out of position with Hudson Odoi the ONLY danger. Just bring him down, take the yellow and reset. I can think of a plethora of full backs we’ve had who wouldn’t have hesitated to do it. Actually, there were 2 fullbacks on the pitch who wouldn’t to have hesitated have done it, had it been necessary, but they were both wearing red!

It's all coming from the manager? Pep publicly said it's ok not to win because of the past 9 years.
Now, I am not a manager or one of the best managers in football, but I don't think I would be giving out free passes for a season to the players or making it known in the media we are waving the white flag,

Pep does not believe in balance and having fullbacks, If you are good with the ball, can play, have speed, you can be Manchester City's fullbacks, How many players has Pep asked to be our left back/right back ??

Today was shocking for many reasons, WE HAD A FULL FREE WEEK and a couple of days' rest and we could not give a fuck today, How Bad was Haaland Foden Silva Dias Gvardiol all of them could not give a fuck ? I even think Haaland would have had more touches from the bench warming up down the touchline.

Yes he is a world-class player but does it allow him a free pass when he does not fancy it,
Pep post-match interviews are also starting to show him up and enough is enough because its clearly not what we are all watching
 
I missed the reverse fixture earlier this season but apparently Grealish had a very good game in the middle. So Pep why didn’t he play today? Also Pep, whilst we are at it, wtf have Silva or Foden done to deserve a start? wtf do we have half asleep Gvardiol fucking up every game? If things appear so fucking obvious why don’t we learn? For those hoping for some mythical rebuild well spoiler alert it isn’t going to happen. We have to somehow get a tune out of the current squad with one or two additions and a few departures (hopefully!) Rodri will take time to get back up to speed and will we ever see the amazing footballer he has been? Pep just spent the thick end of £200m, he may get the same in the summer but other clubs aren’t going to sell us their best players. You can excuse a manager if he tries something different and it doesn’t work, but this rinse and repeat shit isn’t good enough.
