Great pass from Kev , but hey ho Gundog is to crap.Thank goodness Wood missed a big opportunity to level for Forest at 1-0. The atmosphere could have changed if he scored and it may have affected the team.
Win at Palace now and the team can get a roll going. The fans can get the Poznan going and announce to the PL we are back.
So at what point did Mark Twain say anything encouraging;-)To paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of Manchester City’s demise are greatly exaggerated.
Considering the recent run of results and the fact that Forest were just behind us in the table, I thought we were very good.
We attacked from the start, and more or less controlled the game. The early goal was important. It was a bit scruffy, but who gives a fuck? Kdb’s and Doku's were excellent strikes.
I’m not going to proclaim that we’re back to our best, but the signs were very encouraging.
I’m pretty sure he acknowledged that the rags are shite. So at what point did Mark Twain say anything encouraging;-)
The two things are mutually exclusive and can both be correct at the same time.Great pass from Kev , but hey ho Gundog is to crap.
Douglas Luis is having problems at Juve.SERIOUSLY -:
We should make a 2 year contract offer to Salah.
No transfer fee, wages and success fee, African Ambassador role on retire ment.
Guaranteed goals and guaranteed piss boiling on miseryside !!
Gundo did well on Wednesday with Kev,Jack,Bernardo,Dok and Ruben stiffening things up all over the park. The two things are mutually exclusive and can both be correct at the same time.
It was a horrible pass from Kev and Gundo, sadly, is not the player he was, or that we all remembered, from two seasons ago.
Put them down in the shit, wet seats in ESL110/111/113 (round the corner flag)'You cheating bastards you know what you are'
How ironic, seeing as those Forest were docked points for breaches of financial rules only last season.
One of the worst away followings considering they sold out. Glad our football shut them up
Nah, not having that.Gundo did well on Wednesday with Kev,Jack,Bernardo,Dok and Ruben stiffening things up all over the park.
It takes time to rebuild fitness & PL match condition after 12 months with a lazy team in a farmers league.
You are Donald Trump and I claim my £5.No surprise really when you have Kev starting and Jack doing good stuff in the middle.Dias at the back. Injuries to our best players have clearly not been sustainable. Set us back big badly this season.
Nah, not avin that.Nah, not having that.
He is taking longer on the ball, getting caught with his turns with the ball, and is a liability when facing his own goal and being attacked.
None of that is to say he doesn’t have a pass in him, or a through ball, or even an occasional goal.
However, he is a shadow of the Gundo we saw 3 seasons ago and a poor impression of the Gundo that left us. The Spanish game did nothing to maintain his sharpness and he’s aging in dog years for a professional footballer.
There are always examples of players who can do the business deep into their 30’s, but they’re usually players who were quick that slow down a little, or never injured, so they have greater longevity. Gundo has had serious injuries, was never fast on his best day, and is a cerebral player whose body isn’t operating as fast as his mind anymore.
Like him, respect him, and have appreciated his service to the club, including this season. Sadly, though, he’s dropped below the level we require for the big games, even though he can fill in and do a job for 15-20 mins when needed.
We should be blooding O’Reilly & Wright in central midfield to see if they can do the job at this level. But, I understand the urgency to win a game and Pep’s unwillingness to widen his “Circle of Trust” with his back against the wall. I hope he can find the opportunities for them soon.
Yes, it's amazing that at the start of the season we had four CBs and now none of them are exactly fighting fit!We need cover for Nathan Ake, Kyle Walker and Rodri, urgently. Bobb will hopefully be fit for the second half of the season but our defence is vulnerable when we have an elderly right back and injury prone centre backs
