To be honest we could deal with missing Foden for 3 games a lot easier than RodriWell, Foden would take the suspension for the raised hands under mistaken identity.

Could be we haven't heard the last of this.BBC Sport "Rodri was shown a straight red for violent conduct after putting his hands around Morgan Gibbs-White's throat as they tangled near the corner flag, with VAR upholding referee Anthony Taylor's decision."
"Gibbs-White waited before throwing himself to the ground theatrically after they had clashed but, regardless of his reaction, Rodri deserved his fate for raising his hands and grabbing him around the neck."
Only one hand though
Not even with discrimination against tall people? Rodri was clearly just trying to embrace Gibbs whilst pleasantly sorting out the situation.
Agreed . Rodri should’ve chocked the **** harder .Agreed. But still a bit amateurish to react the way he did, literally nothing to gain from doing it. Baffles me when players do it.
Old Chinese proverb say, "You can only poke a Tiger so many times before it strangles you and gets red card"Rodri should've had the foul twice, well before the set to. Gibbs White was at him, with no intention of getting the ball.
Foden was just rolling up his undershirt to try and take the blame. Not even with discrimination against tall people? Rodri was clearly just trying to embrace Gibbs whilst pleasantly sorting out the situation.
Video of the game is now on the website, including the sending off. Rodri was apparently red carded for grabbing Gibbs-White by the throat, but if you watch the footage it's clear that Foden actually made that contact, not Rodri. The rest was handbags and GW should be embarassed when he watches it back. So the sending off was ridiculous PLUS how can the VAR not see that when he watches it back ??11
We did indeed, have to respect their effort to be fair.Didn’t we ‘belong’ there once?
Depends what colour shirt he was wearing I imagine.Perhaps Gibbs broke into his house. It is funny though. I wonder how Duncan Ferguson would fair against modern refereeing standards and VAR.
Woah, what's wrong with Wythenshawe?????This isn't the first time Taylor has turned a City game into a bad tempered battle, complete with red card(s) ... and it won't be the last.
Everyone knows he dislikes City, and coming from Wythenshawe, he shouldn't be allowed anywhere near City (or United) games.
6 starts, 32 games suspended.Perhaps Gibbs broke into his house. It is funny though. I wonder how Duncan Ferguson would fair against modern refereeing standards and VAR.

Yes, he always looks good playing for England with Rice next to him.Phillips played well , just don’t think he should be the single defensive midfielder, looks like a player that needs someone next to him. I think if he had the security of a 2nd midfielder next to him we’d see a very good player.
