Nottingham Forest (N) | FA Cup | Post Match Thread

I hate to to say it, but you pick the one time that I can agree with him.

Definitely on the up lately though, riding our luck or not.

C'mon City!
On the flip side it’s an easy assertion when the bar has never been set so high, it’s unparalleled because of the standard set….

Easy point to make when it’s never be observed at this level in England

The 'handball' that wasn't given. As I understand it if the hand contact prevents the ball going into the net then it doesn't matter if the hand contact was deliberate or not the penalty should be given. And that ball was going in!
N'est ce pas?
Correct. His arm was extended but he gets a pass from VAR because it was behind his back. But he prevents the ball from hitting the target . So it's a Penalty

We were lucky today. We have used all the luck in one game. Hope we kept some luck for the final. Shambolic performance by some of our defenders.

Besides the obvious that City won and had a clean sheet, I found it to be a thoroughly enjoyable match, compared to many other matches.

No timewasting (yes, Ortega got a yellow for it, but that's normal for City, and one time O'Reilly went to the corner), surely helped by City taking the lead early. Not many situations of diving to "earn" a free kick, no niggly tackles, no snide actions, no handbags.

This is how every match should be.

Edit: Oh, and very few, if any, VAR delays
No time wasting because we scored after 2 mins. If it had even been 0-0 you would have seen Forest employing every trick in the book to take it to pens

Despite the let offs we were the better side got to take that level of performance into the final.
