Indeed. He was great. Shoutout to Bernardo, too, though that pass he made right to the Forest player at the end almost made me smash my remote!
I was probably heard to Wembley stadium, I'm waiting neighbours (or the police) knocking on my door any minute now...
No defensive mechanism can make any fucking difference, there's no escape. This team is going to be the end of me. If they can handle it despite all our problems, then we can too. Suffer like them, suffer with them till ref's final fucking whistle. There is no choice, not for us. This team will never let us down...
I wrote a few things following the Villa match regarding Pep's strategy, not going to repeat myself. People who do no understand the tactical "whys" in the man's thinking process these days, are the same people who will never understand how we survived for 4 consecutive seasons, winning everything (plus a treble) while playing with criminally low energy levels. It is literally unfathomable. Never happened before, and will never happen again...
Congratulations to the manager and the boys. Courage, guts, responsibility, concentration. 11 individuals (plus the subs) on the same wavelength with each other, warriors sharing the same perspective, the same understanding of the game. And carrying out a game plan with discipline for 94', almost to perfection. A TEAM gentlemen!
Get back home safe, get some well deserved rest. Good luck for the rest of the season!
