Nottm Forest (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

I am always happy when a team looking for fouls then loses a game because the foul that they were looking for is not given. The spirit of the game is hindered by those who go to ground too easily, and in Jesus they had that player from minute one. It is upto referees to deal with it, and if you do not give the foul for a player writhing on the floor, then you need to book them for trying to con you.

Ref was shite, forest are a rugby team, but a great win for City and the results continue. Cherki was class, Foden grew into the game well and Nico Gonzalez is fast becoming our most important player. A good result
Forest, a rugby team? They spent more time diving about than pretty much any team we’ve played all season, they wouldn’t last two minutes on a rugby pitch.

One thing that did piss me off a lot and it’s not the first time is Gvadiols distribution of the ball. He gives the ball away over and over again in some of the most basic positions. If he could sort that out he’d be so so good.

You clearly do not understand the PiGMOL protocols to be adopted when one of their officials is in charge of a game involving City.

Just finished watching it, having avoided the result. Even forgetting about Nico G and Tijani's 'efforts' to get back during the attack that led to their goal, that wasn't the best performance this season, or the most eye-catching result, but that has done more to encourage me than any other game this year.

Much more closing down in packs, an obviously brilliant team spirit and some of the forward play was terrific. Phil in particular very unlucky to be outshone by Cherki's goal contributions. That ball was really pinging around at times.

Even Sav almost pulled off what would have been a fantastic pass to Erling.

There's no way that we'd have won that match last season, after having been pegged back. A classic 'champions' 3 points.

Edit: Just watched it again and Nico's just slow, Tijani still looks lazy, though.

He misplaced 6 passes out of 93, with two of the misplaced passes being long balls, so 93.6% pass completion, which I’d saying is passing to team mate over and over again.
