Nottm Forest (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

I agree
It was a tough gig out there for the ref with the amount of cheating by forest
Even Joe Hart mentioned that every time Igor was involved there was a decision to be made
On Igor, I thought he bullied our centre halves and then for some reason he decided he was going to play for free kicks
If he'd stayed up on his feet he'd have had a much bigger influence on the game
Forest had two big chances, one they took, the other was totally fluffed
Our big chances, one went in, two were superbly saved and the fourth Savinho hit a powder puff shot
Xmas turkey's goal wasn't a big chance, but a fabulously hit shot which had a touch of fortune going through GW's legs
And we got away with Gonzo not picking up a yellow despite a number of fouls

Not sure about a " tough gig" for the ref bit, because if he had shown more integrity and hadn't been so biased in favour of giving free kicks to Forest at every opportunity, the game might have looked more balanced. He didn't struggle to give cheap fouls against our players !

A lack of integrity added to a bias against City players, made the game what it was.

Yet another **** on PiGMOL's list of refs who demonstrate that they are unfit to perform the task honestly.

Should Cherki goal been ruled offside..
Should Dias been given a red card..

Hilarious
Maybe us being out of the mix for most of last season resulted in a massive drop in traffic and clicks on their website from rags, red scouse and arsenal fans frothing at the mouth. Now we're up there again it's going to be 2 polls a game to make up for lost time.

That’s a tremendous result and 3 points as Forest were bang up for it today and played really well. They’re so much better than their league position.

Didn’t think we were particularly convincing but loved the desire, fight, work rate and unwillingness to accept anything other than 3 points. Pleasing mentality.

Really happy to see the new lads come up with the goods at the vital moments.

Thought Anderson had a very good game too. Would definitely sign the ****.

'fouls' went against us that were so soft. Not sure we got more than 1, Scouse git has history with us though.

We had to work really hard for that win. Forest set-up brilliantly to counter our style.we always struggle against physical CFs (however if Erl played like that I am sure he would get whistled for fouls against).
Cherki is a game changer, even if he is not having a brilliant game, he has that magic to assist or score. Last year we would have crumbled but this year we are getting the mentality back. Good win blues

Fucking cheating bastards spent more time on the deck than captain pugwash. Ref fell for it every single time.

Saying that we weren’t great ourselves, nothing for Nico (O) to pass to, so a lot of passing back inside. Great win though, keep at it lads. Doing well in a transition season bodes well for us.

This was a hard game, Forest are the type of team we hate in how quick and aggressive they counter

Huge win, absolutely massive!

I have never allowed myself to be swept up in our shot this season at winning the title...but this result has changed my mind

In the last 12-18 months, this is the type of game we would've lost after they equalised

Exactly.

I've said from the start of the season that I think we have the best squad and if they all gel quickly enough we'll be unstoppable. We already have the best goal difference, that's not by accident.

I watched the Arse-Brighton match and they were hanging on in the last 10-15 minutes in a match that Brighton were never going to get anything out of. It was sad to watch, panicking against a team that weren't even a threat. They're never going to hang on for another 20+ matches.

And they play Villa next, who have just gone 2-1 up at Chelsea (from 0-1 down) as I type.
The Tarquins have been doing that the last 6 games or so . It’s not even January yet and their arses have fallen out ! Imagine the state of them mid March !!!!! Ffs ;) :)

The bbc is a joke, without bringing politics into this thread all trust in that organization has been lost after the trump edit.

It seems that there are quite a few of the PiGMOL crew who prefer to dish out cards and fouls against us when reffing our games, compared to the opposition team.

And I'm sure it's pure coincidence that PiGMOL are employed by the PL, who just happen to have number of charges against the club currently outstanding.

But no doubt we can be reassured that there is no possible way in which the two lots of facts are linked in any way :)

Brilliant win today. Top drawer. FWell done boys. Forest gave us a game. Cherke is becoming a vital part of the team. Do get a bit frustrated with Nunes when he gives away unnecessary and obvious fouls then pleads his innocence.
