Nottm Forest (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Brilliant mentality to come through a very tough fixture. Could Forest play actual football? Occasionally, but preferred to dive and cheat, got their just desserts.
Cherki will deservedly get the headlines but this was a team performance where everyone played their part.

Ah yes, the referee. In a game where we had about 4/5 shots on/ off target, had between 65/70% possession throughout the game, 'committed' approx 13/14 fouls to their 3(!), yet we had I think 4 yellow cards to their one......
Each week literally seems to be another trough in officiating, absolutely dodgy as fk.

What a bunch of whingers both fans and players they were. To think dyche was an apprentice under Brian Clough, just disgraceful.

Anyway top of the pile!
The late, great Brian Clough would have been turning in his grave.

Its the not the same club as it was under him.

Ref was well dodgy again.

Mate there’s a very clever and talented player there I tell you and he’s starting to show it. Always looking to make runs in the little pockets and ghost into the area at the right time. The perfect player for Pep in that position.
Yeh he loses the ball sometimes but so do all the front footed players at the moment as we’re still gelling. Got to see beyond just giving the ball away.
I hope you are right.

The sooner Dych, his antics and outdated version of football disappear forever will be a great day. Of course the media hacks love old Shaun. Gruff voice, shaved head, goatee beard and playing the hard done to little club against mighty megabucks City. The man's a **** snd so are the media who lap his bollocks up.

What has happened to the obstruction rules? Standing in front of a player to block him is a foul leading to an indirect free kick. That should include the goalkeeper. Challenging for the ball is fine but not obstructing someone with no intention of playing the ball. The rules are not being enforced. The same is true of players feigning injury and diving. That is a booking offence. PGMOL is a complete disgrace. The game is being taken away from the paying customers.

They have got themselves in a mess.
By allowing contact on the keepers at corners, straight from the opening weekend, Arsenal goal at the Rags. Pundits piled on saying the Keeper needs to be stronger.
It has accelerated exponentially so now we have a rugby scrum at every corner, every team has a keeper disruptor, ours is Bernie(sly sod).
No contact on the keeper in the 6yd box is the only way back to sanity.

What a surprise, Dermot the Dickhead, says Dias should've been sent off against Forest. Never comes to a decisive, positive conclusion on our behalf for those contentious decisions against us does he the absolute throbber.

For me it could have been a yellow but don’t they spout about if they give another yellow it had to be a bad one!

Bet they never talked about the cheating diving all game by Forest!? That for me they should keep banging on about managers coaching diving! Because that Gibs white dive wouldn’t have come from the player it would have come from the manager or any of there coaches!

Exactly. I've lost count of the amount of potential sending offs due to second yellows not given this season in games without a murmur. The bald prick wouldn't make a decision last month after the Foden-Schar incident at Newcastle and the handball incident in the same game wasn't even discussed. What a talentless tosspot he is. The personality of a smashed crab.

I'm shocked.

Paid up shill for US owned sports broadcaster saying the filthy Arabs are cheats.

Surprised he's not gone full Arsenal fans and called his colleagues corrupt for accepting bribes from Abu Dhabi.

Didnt see it but i assume no discussion on the many yellows Jesus avoided, our non penalty and the shoves on the ref. Just also shows how shit PGMOL refs are if he think its a foul, even forgetting the tighter rules on issuing a 2nd yellow, Dias is looking at the ball, Jesus just looking at Dias, initiates contact then a delay before diving.

Forest have complained to PGMOL about the officiating on Saturday and have asked for more info.
If that’s true I hope they asked why Jesus or whatever his name is got away with waving an imaginary card.. Plus the pushing of the ref by one of the Forest players ( can’t remember who)

I’m in awe at their pure ignorance and audacity. They got 99% of decisions and the ‘foul’ on Gibbs-White is so obviously him cheating that I refuse to believe they’re still moaning about that incident alone.

If it’s the Dias second yellow, even then the cheat who bought the ‘foul’ had conned the referee to about 7/8 of them beforehand. If he wasn’t such a whinging, cheating **** then maybe the Dias collision may have felt more serious.

And that’s ignoring the red card he should’ve had as well as Dias being booked for dissent but Anderson not getting a second yellow for pushing the ref. Which in itself is a straight red according to the rules.

Genuinely laughable from Dyche and Forest. A bit embarrassing for them IMO. Especially Dyche who tries to pride himself on ‘old school’ football.
