Notts County Away

I've looked on national rail and it appears there are no direct trains to Nottingham on Sunday morning. Only three trains will get you there on time, albeit the last one is cutting it fine, and all involve a change at Sheffield. But there are direct trains on the way back. What's that all about?
All this before one takes into account the risk of being slapped and called a 'shitbag' by some random Dingle

9.22 I think is straight there for 11.22 from Piccadilly its 19.50 12.50 with 16-25 rail card!

Says on BBC gossip page this morning that Lee Hughes is off to Wednesday for 250k. Hope so, he would have been a cert to score against us.

Old news that one that the papers have just got a hold of.

They put in a bid for him at the weekend and we pretty much told them where to go. Even if they improve the offer I still cant see him going anywhere, he wants to retire at us and the fans feel our promotion push this season is reliant on him.

Our set-piece specialist Ben Daives COULD be on his way to Derby, but we have rejected all the bids they have made thus far. He has an amazing freekick on him, here are a few video's.

I really hope we keep him, its about 50/50 at the moment

Oh, I believe we have sent you 4700 tickets for the game, less then 5000 due to camera's being set up in the stand I think.

my dad went to the cup game on 9/11 and said it was the weirdest atmosphere ever. i went to the game in division 2 when the goat scored a last minute equaliser and everyone went bezerk. how times have changed eh.

Still saying change at Sheffield. I think that's the slow train that stops at every one horse village between Manchester and Sheffield.
The last time I had a rail card, John Major was still Prime Minister!

Try Manchester Oxford Rd to Nottingham. 9.39 arriving at 11.29. No change
No such train when I checked. Still showing no direct trains on Sunday on the National Rail website until much later in the day.
You are looking on the right day, aren't you? Sunday the 30th?

I believe that The Casa is no more and is now a restaurant named 'The Riverside', unless I am confused with another pub.

The Riverbank now fella, though up market eatery and doubt they'll be letting any fans in that day. Southbank (over Trent Bridge near Forest ground) decent, but not sure whether they'll let fans of a blue persuasion in. Hooters probably best option....'nuff said ;-)

I still see nothing re: Birm away being moved back a day. If there is only one day between this Cup tie and the Brum game I can see us getting knocked out, none of the XI that he plans to play against Brum will be used. Our second XI in normal circumstances would be good enough but you know how teams in lower divisions get up for these games, especially at home. Very unfair as asking any team to play twice in three days is asinine. Sometimes it's necessary as part of the Christmas programme but this is just begging for player injury.

If this game was a draw when would the replay be?
We have midwk games the two following wks before rd 5
Would it be the same wkd as rd 5 games?

Replay would be Tues 8th or Wed 9th Feb - probably Tuesday to give more time before the derby on the Saturday

wasnt it notts county were Reid played Heath, we sang you dont know what youre doing until Allen came on, won a pen with his 1st touch, scored it with his second and kissed his badge (1st time Id see that done). Think we won 3.1
Or was it Port Vale - am I getting old and mixed up?
