Novak Djokovic

I've kind of come round to this view aswell, if a player kicked a ball in anger after giving a way a foul and it smashed a ball boy in the face - the outcome would be the same.
Same here, initially i thought they had screwed him over. On reflection, he was clearly fucked off and should have controlled his emotions better. If you don't, then accidents like this can happen and the ultimate deterrent for others doing it is for the worlds number 1 to be disqualified for such an act.

Just one of those things. Flash of temper that backfired. Those exact rules are in place because of this, Djokovic fully endorses such rules and cannot nor will he have any complaints. He is a top sportsman and will have no issue in holdng his hands up to this.

Perhaps she knew that he was likely to be DQ if she fell to the ground and tried to stay on her feet. I don't think malice is the first thing that manifests itself when you've been hit by a moving object. More likely she was trying to ascertain if the pain was going to go away or not.
I certainly don't think malice was involved and she thought he would be disqualified. I haven't suggested that. I just believe that there are two types of people - those that would stay on their feet after being hit by a tennis ball and those that would gradually fall to the floor.
