Now that the dust has settled in the CL stakes....

Re: Now that the dust has settled ....

I think we appreciate where we are today and how optimistic we are BECAUSE we've seen those tough days when the rags were looking down on us from the top of the table.

We are no way out of the CL lads! Don't forget Napoli HAVE to WIN as an only option and we all know we're gonna batter Bayern when they come to our neck of the woods!!

Now that the dust has settled i feel more concerned, because not while i have a hole in my arse will Napoli blow it against the whipping boys.We have to face it that the home draw with Napoli was our defining moment and get used to the idea of Thursday night football. In fact i cant wait for the Bayern game to be over so we can focus on the prem and rid ourselves of these negative feelings. Oh dear Chelsea.

Fucked? Fucked?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

What one earth are you on about?

Fucked because we're likely to exit one European competition and enter another having battled bravely in perhaps the toughest CL group?
Fucked because we've made the best start to a PL season in many moons?
Fucked because we're still in all domestic cup comps?
Fucked because we've got one of the strongest squads in Europe and it's just settling into a new style of blisteringly attractive play?
Fucked because we're blessed with the most philanthropic benefactor to ever bless an English club?
Fucked because our fan-base is growing in leaps and bounds?
Fucked because we're constructing the best youth development set up ever known to man?

No, as it happens, I don't think so but if you want to be in tears about it then that's your mental anguish, your own private issue, and not one to upset the children with so please keep your misguided bleating to your self.

On that subject; how long have you supported City? No offence if you're new to the faith (all very welcome!) but I can only presume that you weren't with us through the dark days because with your attitude you'd have topped yourself years ago!

From a personal perspective, I'm buzzin' about being a Blue more now than I ever have and for all the reasons set out above and many more.

Well get you im so happy for you another i was here in the dark days merchant ,well so was i and im still depressed about last night allow us to mourn please and then we will rise up on sunday and beat the scousers. Are we meant to be happy about our champs league exit.
Not over yet

absolutely old chum -

MCFC, fucking fucked since 2011.

Re: Now that the dust has settled ....

Totally fucked.

All our players are mercenaries who accidentally signed for us instead of united and we've no chance of winning the league or a cup.

Be nice if our tight owners could splash some cash around too as we urgently need to replace the likes of Shit Silva, Awkward Aguero and Bollocks Balotelli preferably with Scott Parker, Ashley Young and 'Danny' Wellbeck.

Is that a quote from Mario?

...nah, the Mario bull just leans against a tree chewing the cud and waits for the stupid fucking cows to come to him!

Re: Now that the dust has settled ....

Fucked in what way?

last time I checked

we are top of the premier league, still in the carling and FA cup....

Sorry, I should have made the thread clearer. I meant fucked in the Chimps League. We are, of course gloriously unfucked when it comes to our domestic season and will hopefully remain so.

We are for the champions league but this was always going to be tough in this group. It's a learning curve.
