The best example of this I can think is Mendy. To a man we thought he was the solution to our timeless LB needs. In the event, he has proved to be our worst ever signing. We certainly don't need another thank you.

Mendy cost 52m, Mendes is going for 34m. Huge difference.

Well it is, he's been charged and right now has a right to a fair trial and is innocent until proven guilty.

Right now the club can't do anything in regards to him and his contract until the legal proceedings are over which is likely to be in 2022 unless he pleads guilty on the 10th
