He’s the one. I don’t want anyone else to be considered! Just sign him. Very calm and composed for 18 years old. And we seem a great squad for him to settle into with so many players he already knows, plus the Brazilian lads who speak his language. It just seems like a great fit.

On the one hand it was only Luxembourg, on the other it's an impressive performance considering his age.
His ability on the ball and speed would be a great asset in our team. Pep would make him world class.
He could become our Ashley Cole.

I think we like to have alternatives. If we want supreme technique in a certain game, Zinchenko plays. We want altheticism and power? Mendes. Same on the other side with Cancelo and Walker. We can play however we want for any given game.At 18 his speed, athletisn and power seems overwhelming. In a way he is more a mix btw Mendy and Alphonzo Davies. But yes, the similarities to Mendy are quite clear.
He is far more athletic in my opinion. Thus he'd be a far better defender. A bit like Wan Bissaka in that respect. I can see him giving Sterling fits in practice.
I can see why we are in for him. But personally hopes he develops his game far more on the technical side.

We have loads of right backs in the CFG ranks and Walker is a freak of nature. He’ll stay for a few years anywayI saw a report we wanted to use Pedro Porro as makeshift. Hope that story is false. Porro should be replacing Walker after the end of next season. He is Cancelo light. Ww should not lose him.

Yan Couto at Girona, Kluiverth Aguilar and I think a couple more. I’m not saying these lot are ready yet, however Porro wouldn’t break into the team for another couple of years whereas Mendes has an easier pathLike who?

I suppose if we are stacked at RB then we are stacked and some will end up being moved. And perhaps Porro is one of those... But from what I saw, he is on the way to being mini Cancelo maybe even better if he doesn't have to jump.around to multiple clubs like Cancelo did.Not seen Porro,but Dionkou has ability.

His passing is definitely standout like Cancelo, and I'd like to keep him too, we have so many RBs on loan its so weird.
If the back 3 continues, I can see Walker permanently just being a CB, and then rotating Cancelo and Porro as either wide fullbacks or inverted fullbacks.
