It certainly makes sense but I do not think that is the case. To tell an agent to stop using our name is closer to "We are not interested in the player, do not use our name to raise the price." At least in my opinionMaybe we prefer to fly under the radar, until after the Champions League final.

Seems pretty certain he was just on a list of players we ask for reports on and somebody in Portugal got carried away.
Better the devil you know sometimes, the other players seem to like him.I still think Mendy should be moved on but if Pep is happy in keeping him in the squad then fair enough.

Yep not really bothered either way. I don't hate the player howwever there are question marks over his consistency. If he sticks around I will back him.Perhaps he still will be? Wait and see I guess.
