Messi, Ramos, Donnarumma, Wijnaldum, Pereira, Hakimi and Mendes. All for less than we spent on Grealish.Going to psg.. dang what a window they are having.
Be a tough window to top (on paper at least, lets see if it pans out).

Irrelevant when we had £50m in sales + Agueros contract off the books. Very easy to swap Grealish out for Aguero. Grealish costs us around £30-35m a year in wages + amortization. Agueros wages alone used to cost us around £20m a year. So “breaking” a transfer record in Grealish has hardly changed anything for usWe’ve just spunked a £100 million on the nose for Jack, not pay in five years, we have the money and in the main spend it well.
We only have 1 LB and even he isn't a natutal LB. PSG signing Mendes on an option to buy is ludicrously good business, there's no way getting around that. This obsession that the board always know best after this disaster of a window full of mishaps should be firmly put to bed.Yeah, but the folk on here know more than Pep. The shit bald fraud. So let's sign him anyway. Despite there being no evidence that he can fit with what we need our fullbacks to do.
If they don’t win the Cl god poch is so done lolMessi, Ramos, Donnarumma, Wijnaldum, Pereira, Hakimi and Mendes. All for less than we spent on Grealish.

looks fantastic, but how much are they paying for that lot in wages ? messi, ramos, donnarumma, wijnaldum and hakimi are all free transfers so will be earning top dollar, it annoys me when we get lumped in with them about ffpMessi, Ramos, Donnarumma, Wijnaldum, Pereira, Hakimi and Mendes. i read today PSG's front 3 make more a week than 13 Premier League squads in total.looks fantastic, but how much are they paying for that lot in wages ? messi, ramos, donnarumma, wijnaldum and hakimi are all free transfers so will be earning top dollar, it annoys me when we get lumped in with them about ffp
they are forking out at least 1.5 m per week for that lot

PSG have absolutely destroyed us this window. Really starting to hate those french pricks
If all the above mentioned facts are true, our public pursuit of strikers was a mean to make Utd bait and pay crazy sums either for Kane or Ronaldo. It's the only logical explanationI like our squad and have full faith in Pep, but more and more it feels like something fucking weird is going on.
The whole summer we had to hear about Kane constantly, and now we're finding out that we made 1 cheeky bid in the Euros and the Spurs refused to talk to us at all. So why did we not move on, or if there was no one else why continue the circus as if the transfer was real?
We sulposedly weren't that interested in Ronaldo, but managed to allow Mendes to make it look like we were enough to convince United to buy him and strengthen themselves massively.
We knew Mendy had been arrested on suspicion of multiple rapes and false imprisonment, and we had no plans for a left back? Seriously? Did no one think an arrest might lead to something?
We are obviously 1 player light at DM but not even a runour linking us to one of those.
It feels like something weird is going on.
I think we consistently overspend on players. Outside of the odd bargain like Jesus and Gundog, we spend elite fees on good players and good fees on average players.
I don’t think you know how it works then. Most of our contract renewals have actually saved us money even with an increase.I know how it works but amortisation aside we have had to transfer 100 million out from the back of the sofa to pay for the kid, we’re also in the process of contract renewals that eats well into the Sergio wages were saving, as I said we have the money just not willing to spend on players we don’t rate enough.
Regardless of where the money came from or how the transfer is structured.... clubs that are broke (as the original poster was speculating)... do not spend £100m on one playerIrrelevant when we had £50m in sales + Agueros contract off the books. As long as we carry on destroying them on the pitch, who gives a toss.PSG have absolutely destroyed us this window. Really starting to hate those french pricks
Ake also another we overpaid on. Obviously Mendy too.Not sure I agree, Zinc, Torres, and Ed were all bargains, we payed the English tax for Stones, Raheem and Kyle but all have worked out very well, of the current squad the Cancelo thing was obviously an FFP fix for Juve and us, Kev we overpaid at the time but he’s a bargain now, Rodders well you can argue that we payed well above the odds. I think we do pretty well.

maybe we do have money? Maybe covid hit us harder than we think. Next window will tell us
Yes, but at the same the contract renewals reduce the annual amortisation costs.I know how it works but amortisation aside we have had to transfer 100 million out from the back of the sofa to pay for the kid, we’re also in the process of contract renewals that eats well into the Sergio wages were saving, as I said we have the money just not willing to spend on players we don’t rate enough.

Perhaps he feels the rush with torches and pitchforks will make up for the no transfer traffic ;)I'm convinced Ric has switched off the forum member approval facility.
