Oasis reunion

Nah I’m not being herded out of a venue like sheep losing 2-3 hours - whatever gig I go to now I leave before the last song and I sprint out.
wow - hope they bring on Pep, Kun, Merlin and the treble winning squad for an encore while you're on your way home on the 41 to a nice cup of Horlicks having "beaten the traffic".

Well considering I couldn’t give a rats arse about them I hope they do aswell!
Despite being city fan myself i get the situation that youre not which is fine and this is a pretty funny answer you gave. Made me giggle mate. Though id expect everyone will now act as if youve just committed the ultimate sin in life lol

opener? eh? what on earth you on about? also u kinda just proved my point. now please stfu. just because youre wrong on a matter doesnt mean u have to rant. a bigger human would recognise they are wrong and move on. i guess that doesnt apply to you. nfi.

To be honest it's just going to be like the Roses coming back, karaoke for us who saw them first time round and exciting for the 30 something that feels like they missed out. I'm about 15 minutes walk from the main entrance but coincidentaley fly out to more temperate climes on the morning of the 11th. It'll be over by the time I get back and hopefully all the media arse licking will have died down

The roses at Heaton Park is one the reasons I wasn’t arsed about getting Oasis tickets tbh!

My lad bought the jacket and tee shirt but having seen the prices on Ebay, vinted etc say he might not wear them now lol.

I'm naturally a tight arse but wish I had bought the jacket it's mint
Pondered biying a t-shirt, due to the fact in 10 years if will probably be limited edition and pay for my retirement for a few months ;-)

no intention of it being unpackaged or worn

Sod it am 65 in a few months so treated myself the the trackie top ! And I'll wear it !

Oasis's first two albums were superb (as is The Masterplan). Later albums had sprinklings of great songs and plenty thats mediocre. I've seen them live 3 times - at the Etihad, at the Reebok and at the real old trafford. Each time the concerts were good, enjoyable but not great - and they were short, very short. I just don't get why so many people are happy to pay such huge sums for tickets for what is, obviously, a cash grab.

Good luck to those going, and hope everyone enjoys them, but I just don't get it.

Fuck Heaton Park BH - it'll take you 4 hours to get back into town afterwards.

To the extent that I'm going watching in New Jersey - no kidding.......... :-)
After the stone roses took us about an. hr to get back to Oldham St in town, but we were looking for mares amd walkong slowly due to crowds
