Official AaB v City match thread.

I think ched has looked a bit lazy up front tonight this is a big chance for him and he doesnt really seem to want to get in the game!

i think the lack of shots on goal is probably about right for a team effectively in their first year. earlier on in the year we would create chances for fun but couldnt follow a gameplan for toffee, result, chaos, defenders put under way too much pressure, team loses confidence. perhaps you can't really build a team that way, you have to start at the back, then the midfield, then get the whole thing working together in attack and defence.

don't think he can play up top on his own tbh, he is dropping way to deep.

Anyone else get the feeling that all Robinho needs is a goal and that'll open the floodgates and we might start seeing the best from him again?

I think that could do wonders for him, and he is the one player I think deserves it most, well atleast deserves a goal :)

Agree completely. It's not pretty tonight but it's professional, which is exactly what's needed

Hmm... Robinho's our weak link here.

I can see him being dropped sometime soon... Unless he scores a brace at the weekend of course!?

BTW I'm just saying it as I see it and certainly have no axe to grind one way or the other...

;-)

Sshhhhhhh! You can't say that!

I can because I'm generally positive, so I've earned the right to say it as I see it and few could argue in spite of the odd flash of "quick feet"... He has to do it more effectively to stay in the starting line up! I really hope he does but at the moment it aint happening!

IMO

Replace him with whoom?...or are you just saying it for no particular reason other than you want to see more from him.

Fair enough.. But when Bellamy's back couldn't he do the left wing job better so we can get some height in there too...?

He's not irreplaceable, on current form... I pray that he gets his confidence (or is it fire?) back very soon but he isn't as positive as SWP or Ireland when he gets the ball (any more)... Come on Robson!
