Official Australian Blues Thread

There's quite a few Blues on the Central Coast.

A few of us used to go to the Sydney Supporters Club once a month with Bill Chapman as chairman until it disbanded a few years ago. Good to see a new branch has formed. The old branch used to meet in the Post Office Club in Sydney. You seemed to have gone upmarket since then.
 
Seeing as Cheers seems to be out of the question for a little while, maybe Star City is the place to go? They've just opened up a new sports br which is supposed to be the dogs bollocks. Massive movie screen and a bunch of tv's around the place too.

Star City sucks balls though, and is a bit out of the way :(
 
It's not that Cheers is out of the question, it's just we have a dogshit draw from now on and no Saturday matches until November.

I thought Melbourne was the sporting capital of the world? There looks like there's 20k there.

thats a good turnout for a game on a weds night at a prick of a stadium
 
I live in Brisbane, but am going to be staying with father in law in Perth for the first semi. . . no fox. . . hopefully will be able to find an all night sports bar?? Any Ppl from Perth know anywhere it'll be being played?

We have a large following of City Fans here in WA, best place to watch is the Giant Screen at "The Burswood Casino" Open 24 hours - and I mean Giant Screens !!!
It will be a 3.45 am Kick off locally, so either get up early......or just go there and drink all night !!!

PS : A lot of us blues met up and went to the Perth v Sydney Game here last sunday - Really Good Day Out in the City.......we were all in our city shirts, and got mistaken for Sydney Fans.....PMSL !!!

Have a safe Trip.....anyone coming to Perth give me a shout !!
