Breathed a major sigh of relief when I saw that vassell wasn't on the bench, fingers crossed Hughes is beginning to see how our team should be playing. If vass was in the team it would have been like going back to square one. Elano is in as well? That's a surprise being away to blackburn but fingers crossed he works as hard as he did on Friday and has a good game.

I think Vassell being in the side might have been good overall, showing Elano that he was not an automatic starter, and that he had to book his ideas up if he didn't want to be replaced permanently in Jan. Elano seems to have responded and now looks to be getting back to his best.

It might have cost us a few points, but if Elano carries on playing as good as he did against Hull, it will gain us a whole lot more.

Best team selection this season for my money can't blame Hughes if we fk this one up.Down to the players

eh?

Hopefully this sends a message to Richards that he can't take his place for granted. Good to see Ned get a chance because he always strikes me as a top lad.

AGREED... a very strong team, glad Richards is out for this one.

Shame its Ball over Garrido :(
