to be honest they may be winnning and they dominate for the first part of that half but after that we have held our own

i dont think we will get anything from this game but we are at least making a fight of it

big phil is doing very little up front ......if we can keep it to 1-0 for the first 10-15 mins of the second half it may be worth bringing boj on for 30 mins or so......his aggression and power might just get us a point

caceido just doesnt seem to use the one natural talent he has in abundance.....his strength....he is not making the chelsea back line work hard enough.....
ireland and elano are having pretty good games and are at least trying to open up chelsea.........ned is doing well as well and drogba aint got passed him yet!

essien is the major difference between the two teams at the moment along with the fact that they have a real goal threat in drogba and anelka......caceido just doesnt add that to our team

Its a pity about the soft goal we let in, though I'm not sure it was a foul that led to the free kick. Anelka went down awfully easily imo. We are getting overwhelmed, but it was hardly unexpected with us missing De Jong and Kompany and I actually think we have done ok overall. If we would stop trying the hopeful long ball (I'm looking at you Elano!) and keep the ball on the ground and play some football when we actually get some possession, we have a bit of a hope.

We have looked quite decent the few times we have done this so far. We will have to keep riding our luck and hope Chelsea waste their chances, but I feel we are going to create at least 1 or 2 genuine chances and we have to take them. It could be far worse- a ruthless team could have it at 3 or 4 nil already.

I think you're find its going to be one of those away days where nothing will change in the 2nd half. We will remain poor for the whole game. Chelsea will win 2 or 3 nil. Can see Robinho coming off for Ched who will at least give Terry and Carvalho a hard time. One more thing while my glass is half empty today why do none our players punish their former teams it happens to us why not the other way round. Other than that we're doing alright LOL!!!
