how much have odds changed in last 45mins? they seem to be 1/6 at moment, what were they 45 mins ago?

WELL I POSTED A LINK EARLIER AND THEY WERE AT 5/2 ON SO THERE IS SOME BETTING GOING ON AT THE MOMENT THATS FOR SURE, AND THE BOOKIES ARE NOT NORMALLY WRONG ARE THEY!

LATEST ODDS

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/samuel-eto-o-specials/club-after-summer-transfer-window" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.oddschecker.com/football/foo ... fer-window</a>

i really dont understand odds and stuff.

If i were to put £5 on Eto to come to us before the odds changed and then say put £5 on now what would be my return if he did come city?

can someone please explain.

For this bet, you get the odds on offer at the time. So right now you put a fiver on to win a pound. If it goes to 1/20 subsequently then you still get paid at 1/5 if that's when you placed your bet.

I don't think anyone has posted the translation of the article yet, so here goes (apologies if I'm wrong)...

Perseverance (which is to say Pep Guardiola) has award. Manchester City is about to be Samuel Eto'o, who is expecting their gold mine after rock thrown biting weeks. Cameroonian striker, reluctant at first to meet the English club has recently changed their minds and not only hear his proposal but has begun to negotiate, unambiguous signal that the Cameroonian has already assumed that this summer, yes, it will leave the discipline FC Barcelona after five seasons wearing azulgrana.

Barca already knew first-hand the interest of Manchester City, among other things because he had sent weeks ago, a concrete offer, but lacked the approval of third party that resisted, that of Samuel Eto'o. Now, this resistance seems to have transferred.

Barca, obviously, is delighted with the news. Manchester City, all the clubs had been interested in Eto'o (Inter and Manchester the other, the United, for example) had the most money was put on the table, filling the wishes of the representatives of FC Barcelona . According to MD has been told, the City would have already reached 30 million, a negligible amount when considering that Eto'o will be free next summer. In this way, and always end up performing the operation, the City will return to solve a very complex situation for Barca for the second consecutive season. We must not forget that last summer was that the English club, with its insistent bid for Ronaldinho, the increase resulted from the transfer of the Brazilian, who ended up signed for Milan for more than 20 million.

What has changed to Samuel Eto'o of view is, of course, the amount that ensures the economic City, whose club is now owned billionaire Sulaiman Al-Fahim, a man able to pay an astronomical figures with almost indecent ease. The annual salary that has been promised to be always conditioned by camerounais the final amount paid by the City and the boat has not moved yet, but last week some British media claimed that Eto'o could become the highest paid footballer in the world if accepted. Apart from money, Eto'o has asked four or five years of contract and failure to know how much is the signing bonus, with a deference that would be rewarding to Eto'o to be transferred only if it is a year to be free.

Barca, where the transaction to fruition, you can show off almost perfectly. Not only will sports depreciated (cost € 24 million) and economically (3 Champions Leagues and 2) Samuel Eto'o, but above you can get a bonus that it seemed highly unlikely a priori, taking into account the contractual situation of Cameroon.

It would also be a successful signing key read in the future. The financial injection would be to undertake the pearl signings that the secretariat has been working a few days ago, starting with David Villa, the possible release of Eto'o

To be honest, i think your the one that's being naive. Odds reflect betting patterns, and peoples' betting patterns are based on what they read in the newspapers and what they hear on the radio etc. So the root cause of such shifts is the ever so reliable British press, which have us as favourites to get Eto'o. Whether they're right or not remains to be seen. I bloody hope so though.

Sorry mate, but we'll have to disagree about this because the odds offered on speciality markets like a player's next club or a team's next manager are all about insider info, which is why very few bookies do them. I trade a lot on Betfair and these are very dangerous markets to play without being ITK. Obviously the bookies get some of this info from known ITK's placing bets with them but I can assure you Skybet didn't go from 11/8 in to 1/5 because they took a few extra £10 bets from Manchester postcodes this morning.

Something significant has changed and they know it.

Hmmmmmmmm, I wonder why.

Re: Samuel Eto'o [merged]

dont know if its been mentioned but barca have signed a young south american kid called kerrison for 13m. its widely thought hell go to valencia on a season loan as part of a deal for villa.

this could then mean the etoo deal is like spursmad has said, a lot closer
