surely what he loses in a year for staying at barca would be some what compemsated by earining more at City. Especailly since if he satys in spain another year he will be hit with a hiuge tax bill.

Or has anybody thought that if they offer him a new contract it wont have the loyalty bonus in it so if he signs then they can still sell him and not have to pay fuck all and if he doesnt sign they dnt have to pay fuck all its win win for barca they hold all the cards !

No they don't. They want Villa as a replacement and need our dosh to finance the deal.
