Not me. If he comes to us great, if not then there's nothing we could have done about it. I have every confidence in Cook and if it can't be done, it's not because of a lack of effort.

I agree MVC. What is especially frustrating is that he's obviously only agreed pay parity with Robinho because his agent has said 'don't worry, we can get the extra we wanted with this loophole anyway'. It seems he's interested in cash exclusively, so I wonder if we really do want him. Everyone's desperate to see a footballer of his class but he's not a classy man.

I doubt if we'll hear anything that sounds favourable for our club. The agent will make out like Eto'o is getting pushed out which of course paints us as the evil doers.
But we just need keep our mouths closed and hang in there.
Those who want us to walk now for fear of kaka-style ridicule I think are being a bit too concerned with what others think. We are HATED by EVERYONE non City. Pulling out or not makes no difference. Looking silly or not is irrelevant. Forget everyone else and just worry about us getting the players we want (for prices we are prepared to pay).
