Fair enough. TBH it's a pain in the arse. Loads of supposed ITK's come on here and tell us when stuffs gonna happen and it never does. I found a message from a few weeks ago saying that both Tevez and Eto'o were finished and to be unveiled!

Just want everything done and dusted now...

Real wont run out of cash... They have been bailed out so many times it's unfunny. They were (I think) £200m in debt and facing breakdown when the "Government" stepped in and bought the training ground off them for... wait.... £200m! Wow that was handy eh. The money they borrow wont be paid back and I doubt the people who have leant it to them expect it to be. The King is boss in Spain and Real is his club, his pride and joy and tbh he manages to let them get away with everything. Similar to AC Milan and the way they get out of the shit all the time. I feel sorry for teams like Velencia who do well but struggle like fuck to stay afloat.
Barca and Real will never be allowed to fold, they are worth to much to the country for them to let it happen. But it's City who are taking the piss out of football!

Taking the piss? No I'd say taking advantage of our situation.

Look at the Grand Prix, before this year, the teams that spent the most money (cos they could afford it) generally finished in the higher positions...

We are now in a position to expand and improve our squad, does it not make sense to do this?

Whoooooooooooooooosh........!

Re: Samuel Eto'o [merged]

at what stage do we need to be seen to be in control and pull the plug before Etos' does it himself and makes us look like twats again by saying "he is going to a bigger club with better history" - I accept we have not got the history of certain other clubs but that's why allegedly we have offered him shed loads of cash - time for us to say make your mind up by this Thursday Samuel and either take the money or fuck off, we will withdraw the offer and move on. Same with Tevez - I am not at all ITK but IF he cannot make his mind up or prefers to see if a "bigger" club wants him then give him a deadline and tell him to take it or fucking leave it. In my opinion we need to start looking like we are in control and at the moment we do not - maybe that's cos we are playing a cracking game of poker but based on the last window I rather doubt it, and I feel the media, players, agents and other clubs are managing to make us look like twats. Or maybe I am just too impatient and all the smart ITK's are right and we have Tevez, Eto'o, lescott etc in the bag?

Technically yes, but in this case not really.

Eto'o wants his payment before he leaves. City are not stupid enough to let him run his contract down by staying at Barca over a few million quid. £13m is worth about 50p to our owners and Eto'o is worth so much more than an extra £13m.

We will sit this out, until the time comes when Barca eith pay up and we get him, or they refuse to pay and he tells us he will stay at Barca. At which point, expect a revised transfer bid from City in the region of, i don't know, £13m more than the previous one.

If Eto'o didn't want to come to City, he would have said so. The fact he is waiting for his payment from barca means he is willing to come to us, City WILL NOT let this deal die over a stupid loyalty payment that is a fact.

If the only thing holding the deal up is the payment, he will come to City. The only problem is if they is another issue we don't know about then it isn't so simple

with the best will in the world you do not know it is "a fact" - rather you think you know?

We paid extra for RSC, so i think it's a fact we'd pay extra for Eto'o
