How much are City going to play their own game and how much will they change formation when playing a danish team like Aab.

Its really hard to tell what we will actually play like as one week we're magnificent and the next we're terrible while playing the same formation and players. Throughout the season though we've basically played a flowing system of football, when defending and keeping the ball we play somthing like a 4-5-1 system. When we attack that quickly changes to a 4-3-3 type system somtimes 4-2-4 depending on the midfield players we have on the pitch. Hmm to be honest i can't see us changing the system that much either, as we have a couple of injuries to key players, they could be fit for the game though.

Anyway i hope you enjoy the game i'm sure i will as it should be a great match. By the way out of intrest what kind of formation does AaB play ?.
The formation would likely be this one:

Karim Zaza (keeper)

Kasper Bøgelund, Michael Beauchamp, Kjetil Wæhler, Michael Jakobsen (defense)

Thomas Augustinussen (defensive midfielder)

Caca, Thomas Enevoldsen, Andreas Johansson, Anders Due. (midfield)

Luton Sheton (striker)

If possible they will play the same formation(lineup) as the one who won combined against Depotivo 6-1 :).

What about City. Robinho seems ready for thursday. How big a loss will it be that Bellamy can't play? - he played a fine second match against FCK.

Hmmm i'll tell you one thing fella the 4-3 result against Copenhagen was very very flattering to them. The First leg they were lucky to get a draw, the second leg the score could of been easilly 5-0 if Robinho hadn't of hit both posts and the crossbar so dont be getting to cocky. And as for Bellamy yeah well miss him, he's not our only outlet though as the whole team can score freely. Actually we've just destroyed Aston villa recently (4th in the Premier league) with both Robinho and Bellamy not present in the team.

Again like i said before it should be a good match for both sets of fans, espeacially if you're team likes to play flowing attacking football, as thats when MCFC plays at its best. I hope you and you'rs have fun in Manchester if you're coming to the match ;-) .

Totally agree with you, that FCK was lucky not to be run over by City.

They have not played well in the UEfa this season and was very lucky to qualify for the next round against City. City did'ent play up to their best atleast not in the first match. But you was far better. They were playing with far to much focus on defense and couldn't get any great chances on the City goal. They had to much respect and their main strategy was to defensive.

Aab plays very differently, with a great balance between a strong defense and a dangerous and fast moving offensive. The 8 out 9 nine times they have scored 2 goals in the away as i said earlier and i will be much surprised if they not going to score in Manchester on Thursday.

But Aab has to watch the great speed in your offense.

Still i will say that Aab have a 50 % chance of beating City in these to matches. But lets see.

It will be a great match - i agree both teams want to plays football and wanna take chances.

Maybe we should bet a cold beer :)

if memory serves me right isn't Luton Shelton the centre forward who played for Sheff Weds when we got knocked out of Cup last year at Hillsboro?

I think you're right but it was Sheff United.
