All Mancini needs to do is play Clichy and Richards ar RB and LB. They should have played every CL game in my opinion. They - especially Richards - offer a potent attacking force and they both defend just as well. I still can't get my head around why Mancini used Kolo at the Allianz Arena...

Hart
Richards - Kompany - Lescott - Clichy
Yaya - Barry
Silva - Aguero - Nasri
Dzeko

going on his weekend selection I'll go for-

---------------Hart----------------
Zab----Kompany----Lescott---Kolarov
--------Milner---Yaya---Dejong-----
----Silva------------------Balo----
--------------Aguero--------------

They re scum, you can t imagine how happy those cowards would be if they could get rid of the "only buying" Club.
STOP! It's not because of your club!
We're happy of any english team we can kick out :-)

Without Kroos and Ribery I don't expect that much. But we'll be on counter attacks.
Good game and hopefully Villarreal shows the right attitude!

I have doubts that it could be a typical City moment...Villarreal to take points from Napoli, but a late Bayern goal to draw!

I would not put Dejong anywhere near Robben. He will be scared as hell to tackle him as he will never be able to get to his home country again if something bad happens. ;)

It is no fun trip...

First - it is still a tournament and should be played straight and fair.
Second - it is better to have ManCity out of the tournament than Napoli as in the eyes of the Bayern players you are the team with more potential.
Third - you can earn your club 800.000 EUR with a win.
Fourth - it is nicer to win than to loose.

But - it is short before winter break and the last weeks were hard. Müller and Kroos played 31 games since August with a lot of travelling and never more than a day off. The most of the other players have at least 27 or 28 games. There is still 3 games to play apart from this - and they are more important. The next round in the cup and two Bundesliga games - Bayern is one point in front and wants to stay ahead all winter break. If not they will have the media talk and question about it all of the break. (But maybe it is better if it is like this as if not the media tries to find trouble like if Robben did not celebrate his goal enough with the team or if it was ok not to give Gomez the ball for the penalty...)

Bayern only has 20 field players from which 2 are injured/used in the amateur team. From this only 13/14 are usually fielded - the other 4 just have short periods every couple of games. They do not really rotate much - they do not have a second string of players - and the injury of Schweinsteiger was not easy to compensate.

The team tomorrow will be a surprise. I would understand it if Heynckes would offer a better second team and rest Ribery, Lahm, Kroos, Müller and Gomez - or maybe get some of them in later like he would have done it in the cup game last month - or if he would try to play the best possible.

Going to be a good game even if it is made irrelevant by the Napoli score. Ribery will probably be their most dangerous player but i still think with a decent atmosphere and a good team selection we can turn them over.

We had some good spells at their place and we should have easily had a penalty before their 2 goals but them scoring so close to HT and Tevez being a twat put it beyond us.

I would actually play Zaba on the left side because Robben will only cut inside onto his left foot as his right foot is absolutely useless. This is when he will meet the thunder of Zaba's right foot :).
And now that Kolarov is out for weeks, maybe months, that's pretty sensible. Clichy, Micah and Zaba each playing 2 out of every 3 matches should see us through the coming period.

No Robben...

Stayed in Munich because of the flu - Kroos did, too.

Neuer - Rafinha, Boateng, Badstuber, Contento - Luiz Gustavo, Tymoshchuk - T. Müller, Alaba, Olic - Gomez

It must be a real shame if ManCity would not beat that team...
