Definitely a little defensive and why not with our fixture congestion right now. Silva needs a rest I'm sure, and there's no reason to risk further injury to Vincent.

Besides, Yaya, Balotelli, Tevez, and Dzeko have a goal or two in them for sure even without silva?

Kolarov has been playing further forward recently, and why play Zab in DM? His preferred option has always been Vieira. With DH mentioning how heavily we've been focusing on this new formation last week, makes me think that that's the way we're going today. We'll have to see.

No, and nobody is sure why he isn't playing either. One of those "awaiting confirmation of reason" things from the Official Twitter. A little worrying.
