The amount of aimless passes is ridiculous. We aren't even looking up half the time. Just playing the ball to no one. Sweep has been awful. I don't think he is fit. Ben Haim has been our best player.

I'm just annoyed that our main tactic is to hit a long ball to Benjani or Vassell and then feed on the scraps. It is poor.

i am NO fan of long balling and hoofing... but i really dont think that it is a tactic that HUghes wants us to use... its the players that choose it to get pressure off but that has never worked!!!

to be fair, ireland has been one of our best tacklers too this season, so his selection at left wing was probably viewed as the best, from the midfielders we have available

Passing has never been SWP's strong point. He need to be able to run at people, that's where he causes damage. He can't do that where he's playing.
