OFFICIAL DEADLINE DAY THREAD!!!!

Where was Plan B? Hughes clearly wanted a big target man. He has frequently mentioned our lack of physical presence up front. Everyone knew we had bid for RSC and as the clock ticked it was obviously a game of brinksmanship with Blackburn. Glad we didn't pay daft money for RSC but puzzled as to why we didn't have an alternative lined up, even if only for the short term. eg Gomez, Zigic or even Adriano on loan.
 
Our back up might have fallen through aswell. We could have just gone out and got pretty much whoever we wanted but I'm glad we didn't we'll probably get a UEFA spot this year. Paying £200mil wouldn't have really changed this and we'll have a greater advantage over the longer summer window when we can grind teams down.
