We can't expect more than a 3 year stay. If it was to happen then great, but we have to assume he's here for 3 years & thus get the club running to his model & get the most out of him whilst he's here, learn from him & make sure we understand it all & how to pass it on, so Vieira or whoever can carry it on when he goes.

If he decides he fancies carrying on, then fine, but his m.o is 3 years at high intensity, then gone. Barca have built on it, Bayern will ignore it.

I think it's important he doesn't manage like he's only gonna be here three years though.

4 years for Barca of course, but he did it like it was the only job he'd ever take, and IMO the foundations he laid there to effect the club top to bottom existed because he didn't have a set departure date.

Bayern were constantly looking over their shoulder to the point when he would leave and becaus of that his effect was limited Away from the first XI

4 years Barcelona (but he always told that the fourth year was one too much), 3 years Bayern, 3 years City, maybe a year off - and then national coach of Qatar until the World Cup 2022

And about the scene before that - it is not only Neuer, I would not trust too many defenders to pass like this either. But I am not so sure that is something you learn in the EPL as I do not see that intensive pressing of the opponents either.

Me neither,it won't sink in until he starts work.Incredible really,i never thought it would happen

Imagine how good the summer transfer window will be :)
It will be such a distraction, their goes my dissertation hahaha

Nasri is a bright boy and if he is prepared to put in the work, he will very much be a Pep player.

How disciplined is Nasri? I know about his problems with the french team. That is an important topic with Guardiola.

Guardiola is not a coach like e.g. Pellegrini, Ancelotti or Heynckes. His strengths is not the dressing room but tactics and the pitch and the authority he has for the players have more to do with his knowledge etc.

Bring Lescott back, surely?

Hart is in big trouble if someone doesn't sign that can take the responsibility of distribution away from him.

I think Hart's short game is ok. Neuer has 86% pass completion but the percentage of passes he makes that are long balls in is about half that of Joe Hart. I don't think the issue will be around Hart's passing ability but around the ability of his team mates to make themselves available to accept short passes and then play out from the back.

I'm now waiting for Pep to shock everyone and keep Yaya; as a centre back.

I'm sure Nasri is opinionated but he will respect Pep's knowledge and will want to learn from him.

3 hopefully 4, then Patrick whilst vinny learns the trade in New York with zabs as his number 2 ... ......
We are going to dominate, have no fear
