Things were building up to a crescendo in the past week and a news like this was always coming. A fantastic news and now it is in the open, the players and the manager can focus on the rest of the season and make sure that Pellegrini finishes in a fitting way, with trophies. This is an arrangement that was made before the start of the season and obviously both parties are entirely content with it.
