I heard they paid so much up front,made another payment when he got an England call up,
Then a 15% sell on fee....how true,I don't know

Very true we get nearly £1.5 mill from this transfer
 
It was 15% so we are due £1.8million if the £12million fee is correct. Total we have earned from Sturridge's transfers and triggers is £8.3million by my calculations, really not bad.

Don't know if you've seen it,but there is an article on goal.com(don't know how reliable)..
Basically saying if the Sturridge move goes through,city will use the money from the deal to bring in David villa on loan......possibly bullshit....I don't know the site
