I agree, he looked really good, and it can't hurt to let the lad have a run at some defences.

What they have is a manager that gets the most out of his players (some of whom are decidedly average).

If Agbonlahor decides to go up against Bridge, we're going to get hammered everytime Villa attack.

Hughes cannot win either way with his game plan tonight. People will say he's gone too defensive, some will say he's gone too attacking and some (dependant on result) will say he should have played for the point and some will say he should have gone for three. People change their views to suit their desire/ need to slag off the manager.

10 injuries is West Hamesque.

Swap Ireland and Elano and I reckon spot on.. Elano doesn't cover the same distance as Ireland, so i think hughes would have him in the more advanced and freer role behind the striker.. Ireland will always get forward wherever he is put..

if richards is fit, we could see a crazy move from hughes which has been seen before..
