Official Match Thread | Fulham vs City 21st March

Fulham is no longer a easy win for any team. On there day they can beat anyone. Tough 2 matches in a row against Fulham and Everton and I will be happy with 4 points from them.
Tomorrow match will be a tight game from the off. They are a experienced team and have a solid midfield with Duff , Murphy and Dempsey they have players there who can hurt us. Dempsey is there key man get at him from the off and hopefully we will get 3 points rather than 1. Will be happy with the 1 point but it will be a hard game and they will be hard to brake down.

If City turn up to play for ninety minutes we can beat Fulham. 2-1.

My bigger worry is Everton. Watch out for a late Cahill goal in Fergie time. We will need a two goal lead with ten minutes to go.

seem to have heard a lot of people (admittedly not on this thread) saying that a quick start is the key to tomorrow. thing is, I remember our games against fulham, and we've nearly always taken the lead only for them to peg us back. and juve got off to a blinding start at the cottage, only to get thrashed. the real key is concentration for 90 minutes.

we have the strikers to score goals against their defence, which is decent, but perhaps a little slow. they seem to rely on keeping a tight shape on their narrow pitch. perhaps we have to find a way to stretch them. we certainly need to play well in midfield, stop them from finding their rhythm as well playing the balls into the front three to keep them looking over their shoulder.

if we can keep our shape, keep passing and stretching their back four, keep them out of our box, and get them chasing the ball for 30 minutes, tiredness, and the anticipation of their FA cup replay, may well set in for a few players. and then we should be able to win.... maybe even fairly comfortably.

There's every chance Fulham might field a weakened team today. I guess Murphy will be back but he'll rest a few for Spurs. They are pretty much safe in the League and the Cups have to be Hodgson's priority now. Here's hoping they do us a favour like we did them in the 2-3 at our place.

Enjoy! Let me know if players come over at the end of the game!

Hopefully after they have beaten Fulham who have eyes elsewhere
have noticed they have stopped doing that

My dad asked the question at the forum Thursday and Toure said they will start to do it, Tevez wanted Fans to stay to the end regardless of result.

Just wonder if Toure remembered to pass the message on - heres hoping
