The Gallagher feud just refuses to die a death - following claims that Noel ripped off Oasis tracks for his new solo material, Liam Gallagher is now reportedly suing his brother.
According to The Sun, gobby Liam launched a lawsuit yesterday over Noel's suggestion that Oasis were forced to cancel a gig because the frontman was hungover.
The band pulled out of a V Festival performance in 2009 citing Liam's laryngitis as the reason for their no-show.
But at a recent press conference, guitarist Noel claimed 'our kid' was just suffering after a heavy night.
Liam issued a statement yesterday, saying: "That is a lie and I want Oasis fans to know the truth. I was gutted when I couldn't play the gig because I didn't want to let the fans down. The truth is I had laryngitis, diagnosed by a doctor, preventing me performing that night."
The younger Gallagher also slammed Noel's claim that the band had split following a row about promoting Liam's clothing line, Pretty Green.
It's now down to Noel to make an official response via the High Court but the pair could yet end up battling it out before the judge.
A source close to Liam told The Sun: "Liam felt he had no choice but the courts. He feels a mix of anger at how he has been treated by his own elder brother and sadness it has come to this."
