That was absolutely dire ...... aside from a hopeful Elano punt , and an Evans header that , was an absolutely pityful non-perfomance from a side who didn't cost peanuts to assemble.

I think Chelsea fans are short sighted. They blame the manager but nothing will change with scolari's sacking. Perhaps they will go back to the ways of last season at best which is not good enough. Scolari's big mistake was to use tactics that was not suitable for the players at Chelsea. Scolari asked for players that would fit his tactics but he was told there was no money to spend. His mistake was to insist in bringing a Brazilian style given the players he had. At City he would not have this problem since he would have the elements.
At Man City, Scolari would be able to build a team that is not so one dimensional as Chelsea because the club is willing to spend the money.
With Scolari as manager, I think Kaka would not have thought twice about joining Manchester City instead of snubbing the club. Scolari can attract players to city and I think he would have success.

I had to go to drinking at half time and wondering how that new Ned done in second half.To me it was inevitable we were going to lose today but looking for a positive i thought Ned was solid in the first half .I just hope he keeps his place in the team even when Dunne is available.
