AGREED!! Absolutely pathetic.
- Bellamy can't play up front on his own
- I like Logan, but why the hell was Zab not in right back instead of running around like a headless chicken. He scored one goal from midfield, that doesnt make him a midfielder!!
- Kompany looks a lot better than de Jong in the holding midfield role.
- Elano put in mileage but was extremely ineffective. Why does this lad always get to take the free kicks?!! Sturridge had the right idea wipping the ball off him.
- Robinho only likes to play when he hears his favourite Robinho song being played
- Ireland was shite but had Mark Hughes tactics to blame for that. Being stalked by zab all day doesn't really work Mark!

Any word on Petrov? he has the heart we need in this team. SWP will be missed in the next 2 games.

I can't support Mark Hughes any longer after this game. Every single player with the exception of Given played under par. That coupled with poor tactics is pathetic management Mr Hughes. Scholari isn't the option either....

someone said (can't find it now) that Scolari would have it in the terms of his pay-off that he can't take over another PL side this season - but surely we have the financial power to cicrumvent that if we really wanted to, Scolari hands his pay-off back, we fully reimburse Scolari.

having said I don't think it will happen because the owners don't seem given to rash decisions and unfortunately I think Hughes will be here until the end of the season (although it's looking more and more likely he will be off then, barring a massive turnaround which looks unlikely..)

I would take Hughes over Scolari, and that's saying something.

Likewise. People forget that we play well at COMS, the players need to take some share of the blsmer for the crap away performances. Hughes gets stick for not playing Elano, then when he does he gets slagged off for Elano not performing?
