Said it elsewhere on BM, but I think that Silva should have a day off today (especially as Henry is most likely playing), and maybe against QPR next week. Lots of big, big games coming up, not just CL matches. Perhaps give Yaya a sit on the bench today too? He's played every game so far.

Quick Stats - City v Wolves

City have scored, on average, 3.3 goals per home match thus far; Wolves have let in 1.3 on their travels.

Agüero has scored one more goal then Wolves' entire squad total (Agüero, Dzeko, Balotelli, and Silva together have scored over three times Wolves season total).

Four Blues (Silva, Nasri, Milner, Richards) have as many or more assists individually as the entire Wolves' squad (City as a whole has over seven times Wolves assists total).

Wolves have yet to lose by four or more goals while City have beaten opponents by four or more four times this season.

71% of the goals Wolves have conceded were scored in the first half; City have scored 72% of their goals in the second half.

City have committed 102 fouls while receiving 11 yellow cards (9.2 fouls per yellow); wolves have committed 93 fouls while receiving 19 yellows (4.9 fouls per yellow).

David Silva has 38.2% more gile than 75% of the Wolves squad, even with 50% of his arms tied behind 100% of his back.

settle for a nice 3-0, clean sheet needed imo. gona be a hard game and im sure mick gona park the juggernaut for a 10man behind ball jobby as he knows he cant live with city in an open game. expect its gona be hard to break them down. but we have david who can unlock any defence

It is important but Villarreal on Wednesday away from home is more important.

Today it is Milner, AJ, Barry, I would trust them with De Jong, Dzeko and Agüero or Nasri maybe.

Yaya, Balo, Silva could sit this out and perform against Villarreal and then QPR away.

Last home PL match was against Villa and we won easily with AJ, Milner and Barry.

Wolves are in bad form, saw the match against Swansea they played last weekend, they were pretty bad apart from the last 25 minutes, Swansea had numerous chances it ended 2-2, it could end 1-4 to Swansea easily. So Wolves dont give up, just has to defend well after we are ahead. That's why NDJ, Barry, Milner all starts for me.

We need a win, 1-0, 2-1, grind it out, doesnt matter how, but Villarreal is a total must win, and we arent that fluid in CL so shoud reserve some energy for that match.

I agree Villareal is more important but doesnt necessarily come down to play/ not play. Mancini might think it would be better to give Silva 30-60 mins today and a day off or light training tomorrow rather than a complete rest today

any old win will do for me

can't steamroller the opposition in every game

I think a nice balanced team would be good - sparing a few for CL.
