Where has all this "most expensive player 21 or younger" come from? Alledged or not, Neymar cost a precise "fucktonne" more.

Daily Fail bolllocks. Everyone else goes with the most expensive U21 but they go with 21 or under and then claim Neymar only cost £48.6mill and £150,000 a week wages (Sterling, £49mill & £180,000 a week obviously...).

I've made no secret of my dislike for Sterling. Whenever Liverpool have played i've landed a load of shit at him in the General Forum in the last few seasons (so have MANY others before we were linked with him!). It would be hypocritical of me to now say that i like the player, but i will try to and hope that he does really well for us and hope that he changes my mind on him.

Just asking for a clarification, KippaxCitizen. Do you dislike him as a person or as a player? Surely you must rate him as a player? I think he's too expensive, but his skills are potentially perfect for us, it seems to me. With his price, City have taken a calculated risk. In three years time, that price tag may look cheap. On the other hand, we may look very stupid. Whatever will happen, will happen.
As for him as a person, how much do we really know about him? Sure, he seems like a bit of a kid. But I have difficulty in seeing what's actively dislikeable about him. Now when I think of Suarez — a phenomenal player — I wouldn't have wanted that man at our club for any price whatsoever. Anyway, just curious what your reasons are/were…
