*Official* Roberto Mancini Thread [Merged]

some of u guys need to get a grip!!!

Mancini is the man to take us forward. I mean the guy is a tactic genius and will sort our defence out.

Bring on the stoke game. Im there baby!!! Mancini will rock City and the premiership!!!!

Calm down, Hughes was yesterday. Mancini is today and tomorrow (for now)

Woooooooooooooo hoooooooo

happy days are coming to eastland!

"Mancini has also revived the career of Juan Sebastian Veron, who was talking of retiring from the game."

ROBERTO, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

And you can sod off back if yer think we're 'aving that Moon River crap. It's BLUE MOON, and that's the way it's staying,

So sad that some of those who have accused city fans of being unreasonably negative towards hughes have now decided to do exactly that to the new guy before he's even sat at his desk.

C'mon, what choice do you have but to give him a shot? Are some of you determined to take S***r's place as the unreasonable, uncharitable voice of the fans?

anyone who says mancini is a man with no PL experience so what?

look at ancelotti, Hiddink ,Mourinho

did any of them have any prem experience before chelsea? ...no

i think we should atleast see what mancini is like and see how he sets up our team before people call for his head.

Why are you righting him off already when you know NOTHING about the guy?

I'm not writing him off but neither do I think he is the new Messiah. I hope he succeeds. But then I hoped that every manager since Tony Book would succeed. Success on the continent is not a guarantee of success in this country and we have seen many examples of this in recent years.

I hope to be proven wrong but it does not feel to me at the moment that we are in a better place than we were this morning tbh. The end of the season would have been the time to do this.

But we shall see. I hope your confidence proves well-founded.

Other than bacon face, how many non continental i.e managers from the UK have been successful?

It was always going to happen, what they couldnt see was that their argument wasnt for stabilty or time or backing the manager, it was just that they wanted Hughes.

Pity they couldnt just admit that.

I wasnt a Hughes fan, but at the end of the day I dont believe he should have been replaced mid season. He should have been given till the end of the season then when he failed to deliver get rid and get in a decent manager who has the summer to build when decent players are available.

At the end of the day decent mangers and players do not become available in January. I see this as a missed opportunity, we had one chance the get the likes of Morinho and Hindink and we didnt take it.

That said Hughes has not done a good job with what he has been given, his staff brand new training complex built to his spec. £200 million to spend on players of his choice. 2 wins in 11 games is not good enough, draws against the likes of Burnley, and hull at home, Bolton and Wigan away are not good enough.

We have let 9 goals in 3 games, we could have easily let more in today and were lucky to win in the end. £64 million spent by Hughes on the defense - it was 4th worst in the league last year its heading the same way this year. Its the defence and results against the worst sides in the league that have cost him his job. Macini...................like many others I am a bit underwelmed personally I see it as the wrong appointment at the wrong time, if he can sort out the defence and organisation though I feel results could improve but things could get worse before they get better.

Proves how much you know about world football doesnt it. Clown.

Ancelotti's Record:

Juventus

* Intertoto Cup: 1999

Milan

* Coppa Italia: 2002–03
* Serie A: 2003–04
* Italian Supercup: 2004
* UEFA Champions League: 2002–03, 2006–07
* UEFA Super Cup: 2003, 2007
* FIFA Club World Cup: 2007

Mancini's Record:

ACF Fiorentina

* Coppa Italia: 2000–01

S.S. Lazio

* Coppa Italia: 2003–04

F.C. Internazionale Milano

* Serie A: 2005–06; 2006–07; 2007–08
* Coppa Italia: 2004–05; 2005–06

Won Serie A more times that AC Milan even though it was fucking rigged by Juve and Milan.

We'll see you muppet. Sven's record looked fantastic on Wiki too.

Well it has to be said that Sven had us higher in the league than Hughes did at this point in the season and in his only full season he finished higher than Hughes on far less money. Sven was coming toards the end of his career when he joined us and perhaps wasn't hungry enough whilst Mancini is in the early stages of his career.
