I hope they're paying him 500k a week and he never kicks a ball for them. As if how they're carving that league up isn't bad enough, the Gotze transfer coming out before the CL final, their general pompous superiority.. They hold themselves up as everything football should aspire to be and it's 100% bollocks, they're the opposite. Bunch of cunts.

I thought Bayern Munich should keep a good relationship with Dortmund and not get Lewandowski for free !

He grew up a Schalke fan so to compare to Nasri or Clichy leaving le arse for us is not the same thing. If as a fan of city I went to the rags when they were cleaning up 90s early 00's when instead I could have gone to a top club in Spain, Italy or England and win trophies there in my book that would make me a prick too. If you support a club you don't leave them to play for their rivals.

So what if he grew up as Schalke fan? He is football professional and plays it for money first, then for achievements. If there's more money and more chance to make achievements at Bayern he is perfectly entitled to move there. It's not even their bitter rival.

It's like that in any other industry except in football where fans view themselves as sacred cows and think someone should throw away millions, trophies and medals just so them, the "righteous ones" wouldn't consider him as a prick.

The truth is nobody gives a shit about that except handful of players who played/play in big clubs where they already earn as much or close to what they would earn by moving to other club so don't have many reasons to move. And they are perfectly right.

So if you were the number one GK for city back when we were mid table would you take move to Man united ?

As for them not being big rivals you might have a point the only thing I have to go on is the opinion of my mates German cousin who at the time was livid, if they don't view each other as rivals then fair enough.

As for football fans being sacred cows and it's like that in any other industry I think your wrong, footballs tribal it's part of peoples Identity (the same cannot be said for the fizzy drinks industry) so for a member of your tribe to join the enemy it's rank especially when there are alternative places for them to go and win stuff.

I think such a thing could have been possible in the past when local pride used to mean something but not these days not for long time.

yes buy Bayernr are c*nts and quite happy for the Bundeslige to be a one horse race by anyway they can, much the same way way Barca and RM keep all the other clubs down in La Liga ...... They are all now turning the screw in the CL to make that a closed shop too ..... And yet we still get all these thick tw*ts from smaller clubs laughing at city's FFP sanctions obviously oblivious to the fact we are already in the castle and they will be very unlikely to join us while FFP in it's current format is strangling owner investment .....
