How this is still 0-0 is a mystery. We've dominated possession, had a few guilt edged chances that should have been goals. We've been rock solid at the back again. We just need to carry on this way but with a bit more craft and movement around the box and the goals will come. How Tevez missed that open net...

The trouble some that are watching don't really understand football

We've been dominant but passing from side to side 20 yards from OUR goal isn't good football to me.

I don't quite understand your point there Ntini. Would you rather our CB or one of LB or RB got it and just lumped up to Tevez? We are playing the game the way it needs to be played. By passing it between our defenders we are trying to pull the Sunderland forwards and midfielders onto us, thereby creating space for Tevez, Johnson, Milner and Yaya to ply their trade. Long may this continue, and I dearly hope we never have to resort to lumping the ball up to forwards (apart from the last minute of a game?).

Well happy so far, Sundland hardly a sniff and we're dominating all over the pitch. Had Carlos knocked that chance in we'd be cruising now. If we get one I'll happily take three points and a dominant performance.

well then, that was a very strong first half from City. Truly ridiculous we aren't up 1 or 2 to nothing. Yaya Toure was just immense. We have our centre mid, fantastic play. Who need Kaka, we got Yaya!!

Anyway, please put this game to bed in the 2nd half City we really deserve it for outplaying Sunderland in their own barn. watch us go down 1 - 0 to some freak set piece....

Really don't like Sunderland, poor team poor tactics can get frustrating...but if we keep DOMINATING the entire match we should take this by 3 goals.
